Youth Cricket.

For boys who have ventured off to secondary school, there are still great opportunities for play for North Shore Cricket Club.

Registration Fees for 2023/24 Season: $50 Summer Series U13/U15/U17

Note: to be eligible for North Harbour Waitemata U17 and U19 representative teams you must be registered to play cricket with North Shore Cricket.

Summer Series.

This competition first originated as the Club of Origin and caters to boys from Year 9 to Year 13. It is played on Sundays before and after Christmas. It is considered a step-up from the regular Saturday Club competition.

The Summer Series is seen as important in continuing to provide boys with the opportunity to play quality cricket for their local club, as well as providing keen cricketers with a development path to District Representative Cricket.

The Martin Snedden Cup is awarded to the best performing club over the various Summer Series competitions including:

U13 Limited Overs
U15 T20 and Limited Overs
U17 T20 and Limited Overs

Players must be registered with their club to partake in the Club Summer Series. Players need to be Under 13, Under 15 or Under 17 as at 1 April 2022.

Additional Youth Cricket Opportunities.

Based on past years:

U15 and U17 Club Summer Series 3-day T20 tournament - 6 games during Jan holidays
Under 13 Development Camp - An Auckland Cricket initiative that provides an opportunity for U13 boys from all clubs in Auckland to come together over 3 days and engages in further development activities with qualified coaches.
NSCC Holiday Cricket Camps

There are also opportunities to coach junior teams and manage a team for the Junior World Series. Please note your interest when registering for the season.
