What is Tonk at North Shore Cricket? Tonk is social cricket. It's getting out there with a team of your mates, playing, having fun and catching up over a lemonade at the club rooms after the game.
Under 13 and Teen Tonk is played on a Thursday afternoon/evening. Games are played with a plastic ball, no protective equipment needed. Teen tonk is split into 2 divisions, 1 for those under 13 (as at April 1st this year) and the other those over 13 or in year 9 and up. Teams may be all male, all female or mixed. Get a group of mates together and join the fun. Maximum of 8 teams for Under 13 and 8 for Teen. 6 players per team.

Women's Tonk is played on some Friday nights (dates before Xmas below, dates post Xmas TBC)
Teams are 8 aside. There is a maximum of 10 teams able to enter the competition, with teams having played the previous season given first chance to sign up for the next summer. The club bar is open for refreshments and the club kitchen sells healthy, tasty dinners for the kids and yummy dinners for the players and supporters. All femaler Tonkers should register in to their team. Start HERE then select 'social cricket'/'women's tonk' and find your team.

Men's Tonk is played on Wednesday nights. There is a maximum of 10 teams with teams having played the previous season given first chance to sign up for the next summer.

The club kitchen is open, as is the bar so after a 'tonk' in the twilight you can refuel yourself and feed the kids as well.
