The North Shore 'Junior Club' is well organised and structured and very active in promoting cricket to children in the local area.
Our mission is to encourage children to play, providing excellent facilities and support - all in an enjoyable, safe environment.
Over the last few years the junior club has grown from strength to strength with around 300 boys and girls aged between 5 - 10 years. There are many talented young players and some may even go on to play for New Zealand!
There are two sections in the junior club: the Little League, consisting of ages 5 - 8 and the Hard Ball Grades,consisting of ages 9 - 12.
The club offers expert coaching sessions to all grades as well as organising the fantastic Junior World Series a three-day tournament in January.
The success of the club is not only attributable to the enthusiastic committee members, but also to the many parents who willingly help out with scoring, coaching, managing teams and other duties. Many thanks to all involved.
Enrolments have closed online for the 2012/13 season, however if your son or daughter wishes to play this season you can download an Enrolment Form and send to PO Box 32423, Devonport, Auckland
Teams are currently being collated and will be released soon! Until then practice days and times cannot be confirmed.
